Cold Cases: Exploring Social Studies Skills and Methods Through the History of Polar Exploration

A workshop for teachers: August 4-8, 2008

The History Teaching Institute, in partnership with the Byrd Polar Research Center Archival Program at The Ohio State University, invites teachers to participate in a five-day workshop to develop teaching units using primary sources to teach social studies skills and methods.

The workshop will be held August 4 to 8, 2008, from 9 AM to 3 PM at Ohio State University in Columbus.
